Ben trained at the Guildford School of Acting and in the West End Ben has played Eugene in Grease; Inventor in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Roger The Cabin Boy in Dame Edna: The Spectacle and Victor Saville in Over My Shoulder. On tour Ben played Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast; Noel Coward in Noel and Gertie; PC Boot in Salad Days; Teddy Shapiro in Sophie Tucker’s One Night Stand; Tomfoolery; Glenn Miller in Bugle Boy and was the alternate Joseph in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other London work includes G And I (New End); Gays The Word (Jermyn Street); Anyone Can Whistle (Savoy); Rags (Lyric); Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Lost Musicals) and Follow That Girl (Theatre Museum). Regional work includes productions in Pitlochry, Oldham, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Frinton, Sonning and Frankfurt in shows such as Hello Dolly; Lady Windermere’s Fan; Single Spies; Glorious; Charley’s Aunt; French Without Tears; Stepping Out; Annie and The Tale of Mr Tumble at the Manchester International Festival and for CBeebies. A Pantomime regular, Ben has appeared as Ugly Sister for QDOS in Cinderella for nine consecutive years and in Music Hall has appeared with the Players Theatre, Leeds City Varieties, Hiss and Boo and The Paper Mill Theatre Company. His one man shows And There Was Music and The Land Of Make Believe have played in London, New York, across the U.K. and in the Far East and his debut album is available on iTunes and through his website.
